	In game development, a “RIGID BODY” refers to an object that cannot bend or deform. Its behavior is entirely governed by the rules of the system, leaving no room for independent choice.

This work draws on that concept to reflect the world we now live in — one where daily life is increasingly shaped by gamified systems. From daily trackers to social media and digital platforms, our actions are monitored, quantified, and subtly guided by invisible design.

Using surveillance devices, the work captures the presence of participants and transforms them into pixels inside a virtual environment. These figures move according to predefined logic, no longer driven by personal intention, but by the invisible architecture of code.

Here, the human body becomes a data-driven unit — a “rigid body” that can no longer bend, and is no longer allowed to log out.在遊戲設計中，「RIGID BODY」指的是一種無法變形的物件，它的行動完全依照系統所設定的規則運作，沒有自由選擇的空間。

本作品以此概念出發，回應我們身處的世界 —— 一個幾乎所有事物都被遊戲化的時代。從日常應用程式到社交平台，我們的行為被追蹤、被量化，也被默默地設計與引導。

觀眾的身影被監視裝置即時捕捉，轉化為虛擬世界中的像素。這些角色在一套預設邏輯下活動，其存在方式已不再取決於自身意志，而是服從於一個看不見的系統。

在這個世界裡，人被簡化為資料與反應的單位，成為一具「RIGID BODY」—— 不再能夠變形，
也不再被允許離線。

	Traditional Chinese ink paintings often use mountains and rivers as the subject. Natural resources such as stones and wood are transformed into pigments and transferred onto paper through the brushes. The paper, tinted with the moving brushstrokes of different colours and forms, is transcended into an ink painting. In addition to depicting natureitself, the ink alsoembodies another form of natural beauty.
Through learning the forms of different ores, the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) generates stones of assorted colours and patterns and explores the possibilities of natural colours. Transformed from the stones, the flowing ink culminates in a landscape of mountains and rivers, thereby constructing a painting of nature drawn by the computer.傳統水墨畫多以山水為題，將石頭、木材等自然資源變作顏料，經筆在紙上化開， 這種動態的筆觸紀錄在紙上，顏色、形態不同的筆觸互相交疊成一幅水畫，除了繪畫自然的本身，墨水也呈現另一形態的自然之美。
透過生成對抗網絡(GAN)學習不同礦石的形態，生成顏色、紋理各異的石頭，探索自然顏色的可能性。石頭化成流動的墨，堆疊出一道山水景觀，建構出一幅來自電腦的自然畫作。

	As the pandemic escalates and the virus propagates, fear spreads at an exponential rate. Human contact becomes luxurious, and virtual connection becomes the quotidian. When’s your next online meeting? And – hello, metaverse. Can we ensure that the other world is not infected by the virus?

Since the rise of social media, the speed at which information are disseminated has been increasing at a mega scale. Massive amount of human-to-human chains transmit information at lightning speed like viruses. The virtual world has actually been invaded by all kinds of viruses for a long time. We would contract a virus and recover, and before long another piece of information would be transmitted; and this process would repeat itself again and again. As with the fatal viruses and bacteria that had caused the most recent pandemics in history, we have long since learned to co-exist with this predicament.

GO BACTERIA! transforms data from social media into a mechanical installation, in which the transmission of data determines the appearances and movements of the machines. Sets of bionic machinery reflect the spread and changes of information, and also set the scene for a bacterial contest-cum-showcase.

疫症蔓延時伴隨著病毒的散播，恐懼同時也以幾何式擴散開，人與人之間的接觸變得奢侈，在虛擬世界的交流更進⼀步成為新的日常，網上會議亦好，元宇宙亦好，我們能否確保另⼀世界不會被病毒侵擾？ 

社交媒體興起後，資訊傳播速度急劇加快，⼀道⼀道人與人之間的傳播鏈，把資訊像病毒般短時間傳播出去，虛擬世界其實早被各種不同的病毒攻佔。我們受感染、然後康復，另⼀種資訊又傳播到來，不斷重複，跟歷史上幾次大流行的致命病毒、病菌⼀樣，我們早已習慣與他們共存。 

《去吧！病菌們》將社交媒體上的訊息轉化成機械裝置，訊息傳播影響著機械裝置的形象及律動，⼀組組的仿⽣機械展現出訊息的擴散及轉變，組成⼀場病菌們的競技與展示。

Three groups of artist, compose and construct a parallel universal with visual, music, light and shadow,&#38;nbsp; immerse audiences into an universe of cross-sensory composed by multimedia, experience the aesthetic of the GREY. 


灰色聽起來是甚麼？灰色看起來是甚麼？灰色的光可以觸摸得到麼？三個藝術家和單位，結會影像、音樂和光影，製造一個灰色的平行時空，將大家置入另一個宇宙，沉浸在灰色的感官世界當中，讓觀眾置身於由灰色的聲畫構成的光影空間中，感受灰色的原始美學。

	AND has its Chinese name changed by 2021, and invited Milkxhake to design the key visual. As an organization emphasizing cross-disciplinary, operating team of the center Dimension Plus work together with Milkxhake : New Media Arts x Design to create a liquid key visual system with the combination of graphic design and creative coding.

AND&#38;nbsp;在2021年改中文名字為台灣藝術與科技中⼼，並找來設計工作室 Milkxhake 合作，參與主視覺創作。作為一個強調及注重跨界的平台，營運中心的團隊 Dimension Plus 和 Milkxhake 跨界共同為中心創作了一套液態主視覺，結合了平面設計和運算視覺，編程出一套洐生視覺的系統。

	Art AND Technology Machine AND Installation Content AND Media Stage AND Projection Performance AND Audience ____ AND _____ , cross-disciplinary collaboration, is the core design concept. On the two blank underline, fill in the two blanks and make a new cross-disciplinary collaboration. From Art AND Technology, with the program we made with programming, we put different keywords into two blanked underlines, the program will then generate it into a dynamic visual in order to present its character of variability.

____ 和 _____ 的跨界的合作，是主視覺的核心概念。這兩個可換的底線上，填上不同的界別成就了一次跨界別的合作。這套液態的主視覺先由 Art AND Technology 開始，通過創意編程的方式，在這個可變的底線上填換上不同的詞語，並以動態的方式呈現其可變性。在整年的每一次不同的跨界活動中，填上該次的兩組不同關鍵詞，以統一而可變的液態貫穿整年的活動。

	“To see that wheel turning was very soothing, very comforting…I enjoyed looking at it, just as I enjoy looking at the flames dancing in a fireplace.”Marcel Duchamp elaborated how he liked watching audiences spin the wheel of his work Bicycle Wheel in its original exhibition – which audiences could never again do after that first exhibition.This is the first of Marcel’s ready-made objects, where interaction was welcome in its original character (though it was never touched or spun later); his concept has been borrowed by many artists since then."Cycling Wheel: The Orchestra" borrows the idea of Marcel’s Bicycle Wheel, re-activating the wheel into a dynamic and interactive one; here the artist transforms its mechanics into a sound and light controller, and turns these three sets of bicycle wheels into a performative instrument. By embedding audio and lighting in the wheel, the artist creates a dancing flame, just like that described by Marcel Duchamp.In this DOME version, the wheel become the time-space manipulator, constrcuting the dimension of light and shadow from the memory of Marcel Duchamp.

「看著它［按：指杜象 1913 年的作品《單車輪子》］轉呀轉，那是多心曠神怡的事…我喜歡看著它轉，就像我愛看壁爐裡火焰飛舞一樣。」杜象說他喜歡看到作品《單車輪子》展出時被觀眾轉動的樣子 － 即使在之後的展覽中觀眾都沒機會再轉動它。《單車輪子》是杜象首件以「現成物」製成的作品：他的本意是鼓勵觀眾與它互動，可惜它卻一直被封印起來，沒有再和觀眾互動過。然而，杜象的概念一直被藝術家們重塑及借用。《 Cycling Wheel: The Orchestra 》就借用了《單車輪子》的概念，讓被封印的輪子重新運作。藝術家將輪子本身轉化為控制聲音和光影的機器，把兩台單車輪子塑造成表演工具。表演把燈光和聲音和輪子結合，幻化成杜象回憶中那飛舞的火焰。本次 Dome 版本的演出，輪子成為維度的時空器，將杜象回憶中的火焰交錯出非線性光影維度。

	“Innerverse” is commissioned by a Hong Kong yoga studio Flowga located at Central. Not only a body training, Yoga is about the connection between nature and human.The breathe of human and the breathe of nature is somehow connected, how human act is all correlate with the universe, and sharing the same tempo. To visualize the relationship between human and universe of the core concept of Yoga, “Innerverse” puts together the elements of human, thus, the movement of Yoga and the data of nature. Wind is somehow represents the breathe of universe, the data of wind includes speed and direction are captured from Hong Kong Observatory. The motion capture of the body movement is analysed in real time, the result after the machine learning fills up the coordination system of “Innerverse”. The particles are generated according to the dynamics of the coordination system, and the movement of the particles are followed by the speed and direction of the wind. Three projections composed a whole universe of the yoga studio, projecting “Innerverse” which is generated by the Yogi and Nature, making an ambient to all Yogi in the studio, immersed them into a universe co-created by human and nature.

“Innerverse” 是由香港中環的瑜珈室 Flowga 委託創作的作品。 不只於身體的訓練，瑜珈更多提及人與大自然及環境的連結。人的一呼一吸，和大自然的呼吸在相互連結，人和宇宙在分享同一節奏，相互緊扣。 展示瑜珈對人和宇宙萬物萬不可分的關係的概念，”Innerverse” 將瑜珈動作和大自然的數據連結，由瑜珈動作的帶動，混成在萬物的原素中。 我們把風這個來自大自然的呼吸的數據從香港天文台即時擷取。通過動態擷取的方式，將一套瑜珈動作透過機器學習的方法分析出來，並結合成 “Innerverse” 的座標系統當中。宇宙的粒子將即時根據座標的動態衍生，並以即時擷取的風向及風速運動起來。 三台投影在瑜珈室創造的一整個維度，投射出來自人和自然所結合成的宇宙，為這個空間作瑜珈訓練的人提供一個來自宇宙生成的環境。

	Dangerous Soybean, Vibrating Tofu

The soybean (sometimes called the “great bean” in Chinese) is the main material for all kinds of bean food products, in particular tofu. In the East it is an important foodstuff and source of protein, as well as a cultural symbol. The effects of globalization have made soybean supply and demand a bargaining chip or a weapon in a &#38;nbsp;global trade war. The installation Soybean Futures converts global soybean futures index data into sound waves; the speaker’s vibrations shake the tofu on the installation, suggesting how these up-and-down fluctuations affect human life. &#38;nbsp;The installation’s production process: research and make tofu suitable for the vibration effect; extract global soybean market data, organize and analyze this material and convert it into sound waves. Changes in the global soybean futures index determine the extent of the vibration -- the greater the fluctuation in the market, the more visible the vibration of tofu, and vice versa. The vibration of a piece of pure white, delicious tofu on a plain dark plate represents the vast history and conflict in the development of human civilization. Market vibration to manufacturing process The work Invisible Airs by YoHa (a collaboration between Graham Harwood of Goldsmiths, University of London, and Matsuko Yokokoji) made use of expenditure data from the Bristol City Council, converting pounds sterling into pounds of compressed air. Taking open data on topics like welfare for senior citizens and the demolition of a library, it was a transformative process turning virtual monetary figures into physical work. The vibration changes in the soybean futures market, in Dimension Plus’s design, act as the starting point of reverse engineering, becoming the work’s source to continue to vibrate and fluctuate; the vibration is both an environmental variable in the making of tofu and also a cyclical force transformed into miniature etching. Time to “weaponize the soybean once more” In the links between the United States and the world’s main agricultural export economies, produce from the natural environment has been “purified” by industrialized agricultural practices, joining the capitalist countries, combed by mass-scale farming and mechanical power, becoming a link in the operating logic of capitalist nations. A self-declared socialist state with a long history of a processed bean diet as an importing country of course has its own way of using the soybean. And this, with socialist China sending out tour groups to all advanced countries but using one integrated system to transfer all surplus, has the wonder of “playing the same tune on different instruments.” In this China-US trade war, who has ever considered what soybeans themselves might want? The soybean’s appearance on the planet was certainly not later than that of humanity as a species, why then in evolution has it always had to serve the ways of humans? When soybean became a large-scale species, its decay can bring aflatoxins leading to the destruction of organisms; why haven’t the functions of “climate change soybean,” “anti-GM soybean” or “radiation-resistant soybean” blended to give rise to a “pure natural” new form of soybean? Does not every link in the life cycle of a soybean plant have the ability to go beyond capitalism and national planning, and go its own path? It is the moment to compose a new strategy for the great history of struggle between the human world and nature. The Virtue of Vibration Waveform construction that mixes mathematics and economics, and vibration that penetrates the soybean futures market, these provide the core virtues and characteristics of the processed product tofu. When integrated with a wireless oscillator, people will never be able to reference tofu, stare at tofu, or eat tofu without also accepting these internal, mixed waveform’s cyclical vibrations. Does this mean in the age where God is dead, through science and war we have once more linked up time? Are the litigants in the China-US trade war, under the logic whereby each is given over to capital and national interests, able out of this new war to invent some new possibilities? These vibrations should let us take all past battles, pain and amnesia related to soybean, and converge them into this new form of tofu. We all will feel low vibration, disturbance in the tofu, just overflowing a little bit. Let us see the arrival of the future. Soybean War: Micro-overflow A soybean tattoo seeks to transform an unseen cage into a visible locus. Just as Dongpo pork is held in shape with straw cord, the soybean immersed in a tofu state likewise needs some sort of binding to grapple with intrinsic and extrinsic reality. Now it is no longer a “simple” soybean, rather a soybean weaponized by a new strategy; taking a subtle tattoo, like a tear in the corner of Cry Baby’s eye, symbolically entering a new spacetime to battle for the planet.

危險的黃豆，震盪的豆腐

黃豆或稱大豆，為製作各種豆製食品的主要原料，特別是豆腐，是東方的重要食物與蛋白質來源，以及文化的象徵。隨著全球化的影響，黃豆的供需已轉換成了全球貿易戰爭中的籌碼與武器，「黃豆期貨指數」作品將以全球黃豆期貨指數的數據轉換為聲波，透過喇叭的震動影響裝置上的豆腐，意味著這些上下波動的數據將如何影響著人類的生活。 裝置作品製作過程，將研究與製作適合震動效果的豆腐，擷取全球黃豆市場數據，整理與分析資料，轉換為聲波，全球黃豆期貨市場波動指數的數值改變影響震動程度，當指數的波動越大，豆腐的震動就越明顯，反之亦然。 單純深色盤中的一塊潔白美味豆腐的震動，卻代表了人類文明發展中的巨大歷史與衝突！ 將市場震盪轉化為製作過程 英國倫敦金匠學院教授 Graham Harwood YoHa 的作品《看不見的諸空氣》（Invisible Airs），將英國布里斯托市政府結算資料庫支出數值，以英鎊做單位，轉換為壓縮空氣的磅數，來幫市政府完成針對老人福利、拆毀圖書館、開放資料等特定主題，從虛擬貨幣數值到真實做功的轉化過程。 黃豆期貨交易市場的震盪變化，在Dimension Plus的深度設計規劃中，作為逆向工程（reverse engineering）的起點，成為作品持續震盪波動的來源；震盪力既是製作豆腐的環境變數，也被轉化成微型蝕刻的一個週期性的作用力。 該是「重新武器化黃豆」的時候了 在美國與世界主要農業出口經濟國家的脈絡中，農產品從自然環境被工業化種植的慣行農法所「純淨化」，進入到資本主義的國家部門，被大規模的農耕與機械力量梳理，成為資本主義的國家運營邏輯的一環。宣稱社會主義的國度，在自己悠久的豆類加工飲食歷史中，作為進口國當然也有自己挪用黃豆的方式。然而這與社會主義中國的遊客，前進各種先進國家出團觀光，但卻有「一條龍」的制度性「國家社會創來移轉所有剩餘，有著異曲同工之妙。 在這場中美貿易戰爭中，誰可曾問過黃豆他們想要什麼？黃豆在地球上的出現，並沒有晚於人類的物種，為何在演化中卻始終得服膺人類所刻畫出來的道路？黃豆成為大規模的物種時，它的腐敗可以帶來黃麴毒素導致生物的毀滅。為何沒有「氣候變遷黃豆」、「反基改黃豆」、「輻射拮抗黃豆」這些功能混合了「純自然」的新型態黃豆誕生？它的每個生命環節是否都有著超出資本主義與國族擘劃、走出自己道路的可能？ 該是為新的人類世人與自然鬥爭的大歷史，譜寫新的戰略的時刻了。 震動的美德 混合了數學與經濟學的波形建構，穿透了黃豆期貨指數市場的震盪，提供了加工製品豆腐的核心美德與特徵。透過跟無線振盪器整合在一起，人們將再也無法指涉豆腐、凝視豆腐、食用豆腐而不伴隨著接受這些內在的、混合波形的週期性的震盪。 這是否意味著在上帝已死的時代，透過科學與戰爭，我們重新銜接上了時間？ 中美貿易戰的當事人國家，在各自臣服於資本與國家戰事的邏輯中，又能夠從這個新的戰場中發明什麼樣的新可能？這些震動應該讓我們把所有關於黃豆的過往戰役，傷痛與失憶，收斂到豆腐這個新的形式中。我們都將感受到很低微的震動，騷動在豆腐中，只溢出了一點點。讓我們看到未來的來臨。 黃豆戰爭：微溢出 黃豆紋身，試圖把不可見的牢籠轉化成為可見的軌跡。就像東坡肉要用草繩來規訓，沈浸在豆腐狀態的黃豆，同樣需要某種束縛來與內在與外在的現實搏鬥。如今已經不再是「單純」的黃豆，而是再度被新的戰略給武器化的黃豆，將帶著微妙的紋身，彷彿 Cry Baby 眼角的一滴眼淚，象徵性地走入了為地球而戰的新時空。
